Is Little Venice Island a real island?
Little Venice Island is a real 12 acre island. The island features a lagoon, views of Mount Diablo, and two grand dock entrances. Though we are within minutes of all the main attractions of Lodi Wine Country, we are accessible only by ferry, sailboat or speedboat. We think this adds to the privacy and charm of our venue.
How do I and my guests get there?
Little Venice Island offers a luxury 80 passenger ferry boat to make the short five-minute trip to Little Venice Island a special part of the event. The California Sunset is a USGS certified ferry with an upper and lower deck capable of making as many trips as needed to transport guests to and from Little Venice Island on the day of your event.

Little Venice Island features a large lagoon, a 3 bedroom luxury yacht with indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, billiards room, big screen tv and wifi, and master bedroom suite perfect for getting ready day of. On island, there are luxury bathrooms and shower, full power for catering and lighting and a large fire pit lounge.
What are the best months for weather?
Summer in the delta simply has to be experienced. There is nothing quite like it. Expect warm climates, soft breezes and brilliant sunsets May-September.

There is ample parking available at Herman and Helen’s Marina, 1 mile away from Little Venice Island, where the California Sunset will ferry guests back and forth.

Little Venice Island is located only 20 minutes away from Lodi’s Wine and Roses, the Hilton, The Best Western among many others. Please inquire about glamping opportunities on-island, and Delta Princess Luxury Houseboat rental for sleeping on the island.
